where she teaches Creative Writing at Arizona State University and the surrounding communities. She is a content marketer and ghostwriter for experts in B2B industries and primarily supports US visa-seeking individuals in their goals to write about and publish unique, technical expertise.

She is the recipient of the Graduate Scholars of English Association Teaching Excellence Award, and Professional Development and Creative Engagement Fellowships from the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. Her creative work explores deserts, magic, cycles of landscape and family, and how to coax the scent of rain from a creosote bush.
